The Addressment of Whitney Houston
Dear Ms Whitney Houston,
I usually write these letters in an effort to cuss someone out or to crack jokes. But today I sit at my computer for a different reason.
You are the person that made me fall in love with music. You are the reason I chose the industry I chose. It, still till this day, perplexes me how a person could sing the way that you do. Carry the notes that you carry. Be so graceful but strong at the same time, vocally.
You paved the wave for any black woman to be a force in a pop world. There was nothing you couldn’t do. You are the greatest voice in the history of music. Whitney you are music.
In your passing there will be things said about you that wont even matter. The lord blessed you with a gift that everyone is not given. And that in its self is enough to hold you high. To remember you as the legend you are. Whitney I love you.
I have never felt so much pain or been so sad in my life. I always had dreams of meeting you, and now that wont happen on earth but do know your legacy, your talent, your grace, will never be forgotten by me. Ever.
The lord has called you home, you have got your set of wings, and I hope you fly Whitney I hope You fly.
In closing, this is all I have to say.
